Our mission is to help nonprofits in Southeast Michigan operate more efficiently and be more effective.
And we give back - every year our Board donates the bulk of our net income back into the community - to charities that are meaningful to us.
Our Donation to Alternatives for Girls
This year we made our 2017 donation to a most wonderful organization! Amy Good, Alternatives for Girls' CEO is pictured here with BCNP board members Diane Henderson and Hugh Mahler, and BCNP president, Linda Braun when we delivered our check to her.
Alternatives for Girls, located on West Grand Boulevard in Detroit, has recently celebrated their 30 year anniversary and are a Crain's Best managed Non-Profit winner!. Alternatives For Girls (AFG) helps homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy and exploitation, and helps them to explore and access the support, resources and opportunities to be safe, to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives. AFG accomplishes this mission through three key services: AFG Prevention, the AFG Shelter/ Transition to Independent Living Program and AFG Outreach.
Our consultants volunteer their time and expertise. Our consultants' collective expertise has been cultivated through leadership in various notable businesses and by serving many metro-Detroit non-profits.
Our values support all the work we do:
